Ready to replace the bearings.
The red and white packet is Plastigage – placed between the bearing and the crank to measure clearance.
Bearings fitted and torque to the correct setting.
The crank is wrapped…
…and placed in the freezer overnight to shrink the crank end a little before fitting in the crank case main bearing. I heated the bearing a little and the crank dropped right in.
